You will get that as some of have when you hit the server at a particular time but the issue is behind that in what is causing it to do it.

All areas of the server ( RAM, CPU, storage, swap etc. ) have been looked into and it's been coming up clean and green so now it's onto other areas and there are alot of working parts (software, scripts, plugins, db's etc.) that can be hanging up stuff. Now the fun begins to isolate what it is and it's time consuming but it is being looked into and worked on.

never gone - Not trying to blow you off but maybe start eliminating/turning stuff on your side cause that slow has not been the problem for others. It's been more of a 'short hang up' as opposed to the rain delay we are seeing from your vid.

The page is hanging right where the google ads are during that load.
I have to agree, it is his google ad blocker. I used to have those issues as well. It definately has to do with the ad server.

Use that instead. That will probably fix your issues
I agree it blocks without slowing down the site.

Out of curiosity - Do you run apc or eaccelerator to cache the php opcode in memory?

Reason I ask is I see you're running the default PHP version for centos 5 so based on that I assume you haven't modded much for performance
