DO NOT do business with sage3!!!!

heres the deal. I sold my SF Winnings to Aaron on Dec. 28, 2008 for $2,700. I took the rims off the car and realized the real tires were bald so I informed him and refunded him $300. On Jan. 5, 2009 the wheels/tires were shipped out. On Jan. 6, 2009 I get into an car accident and total my car so I have no car. Being I'm from Maryland and he is in Cali it should take a week for him to recieve the item.

On Jan. 12, 2009 he recieves ONE wheel. I told him to wait a couple days and see if the wheels show up. They didn't so I put a trace on them. Somehow I lost one of the tracking numbers.

Fast forward a couple days later and all of sudden Aaron does not want the wheels anymore and demands a refund. I told him to wait a little bit longer for the wheels as I am not a store and am not giving him a refund just because he changed his mind and does not want to wait anymore.

On Jan. 25, 2009 he emails me and says:
Well like I said ill be requesting a claim through paypal. We will have 20 days to resolve this before paypal gets involve
20 days... thats reasonable to me and i agree.

On Jan. 28, 2009 I get a claim filed from me by paypal which makes my account have -$2621.40 In the same email he also says
If the wheels show, then I'll cancel the claim. I think 20 days is adequate time for the wheels to show.
He keeps changing his mind on if he wants the wheels or not

I tell him I will refund him ASAP if he removes the claim because I have a neagtive balance which I would need to bring to zero before I can pay him. And I told him I do not have $5200 to deposit just so I can pay him. Also I did not just refund him $2621.40 from my paypal account because I do not owe him that much. I refunded him $300 and paid $300 for shipping so I owe him $2021.40. I also reminded him that he would not get his paypal fees and shpping money back which he agreed.

He wants to say I'm not trustworthy and I'm giving him excuses. Even tho he realizes I do NOT have a car so i cannot just visit UPS and the weather in Maryland has been BAD. Now he will not answer my emails.

Oh not too mention he still has my one wheel.

Another vote for a Vender/Private transaction section. VS posting this same thread all over the forums in order to get the word out.

thats one reason i quit selling stuff with paypal.... no matter what the buyer can always make a claim and **** up ur whole account.... i had to give a free set of wheels away for the same reason.....guy said he didnt like them once he got them, then did paypal dispute, refunded his cash and never saw wheels and paypal wont do ****..... had same thing happen with ipods... my i trader explains one of them too

Maybe I read it wrong, but I can see where he would be a little upset. It's a little nerve-racking when you are dealing with someone across the country that you have never met....especially when that kind of money is on the line. Anyway, hopefully everything works out between you two.

Anyway, I hope you guys are able to work things out, sucks to hear about the whole situation.
