Mobile safari is awesome for pretty much any websites without flash. Especially if you own a 3G or 3Gs.

Yeah, but how many websites use flash.... most all of them.

Rant: when will they come out with an app that will play windows audio/video files!

I actually found a GPRS only area on Saturday while driving back from Concan TX. It would barely load my email !!!
That is what WiFi is for.

I think the page works fine on the iPhone. I can see it being an issue on other phones, but as Calvin pointed out this happened on my350z (our sister site) and they went back to the regular version.

I think most people dont realize how much faster it would be on the user side of things for a WAP style for g35driver. Sure i can browse driver just fine using opera mini but it is painfully slow at times. This would also alleviate a portion of load on the network with everyone who browses this site on their phones.

I'm going to start raising awareness for a g35drive mobile site.

^ you're right, it's much faster (usually), but when my350 did it the members hated it and they decided to get rid of it.

So does anyone know exactly went wrong over at my350z? after reading their thread, from what I gather they did not have the option to switch between mobile and regular html. Also there were some formatting issues? We need to take the time and actually figure out to correctly implement a mobile version of this site. time for some research

I hated trying to use my Blackberry with Driver... I could reply to post (until I messed with some setting). I ended up getting an andriod phone and that works nicely! Can be a pain to load sometimes but Im sure thats just my Sprint service...

yeah, this is long overdue. I use my PC less and less these days since getting an iPhone. due to that, I frequent this and other forums much less because of no mobile option.
