may be a shout box i have seen in on other sites its pretty cool not sure it would work on this site but thought i would sugest it.

 

shoutbox is a good idea, but from a web development view it could eat up ALOT of server resources if there is alot of chatting going on.

 

There is (or was, I haven't checked in a while) a 'Driver chatroom on AIM. There's a sticky in the Lounge about it.

 

Shoutbox apps are more trouble than their worth, I've installed and tested a few and I always end up regretting it. FlashChat v5.0.10 is pretty good though, and it can be integrated into vB. I'm not sure how secure it is however and as such Internet Brands might not want to use it.
