A thought...(MarketPlace)

Loving the new MarketPlace so I thought to share a possible new improvement.

Not sure if has been tossed around before but I was just curious and maybe some agree... maybe not. BUT how hard would it be to create a separate sub forum for OEM/Stock parts? Wouldn't have to separate it too much, just ALL stock parts in one area...

I myself enjoy just browsing the marketplace forums just to see whats out there, but when looking say through "suspension" a good bit consists of stock springs, 350Z set ups, mid-pipes, ect.

Just a thought....

interesting thought....not sure how we'd distinguish between OEM and aftermarket without creating an entirely separate section for it, which I do not think is a good idea.

<---- NOT a web designer...soo

could you use a filter similar to the "regional" tag?

Thanks for the inputs!

Yea, I get ya it would be hard to regulate...

I guess Im just thinking just adding "OEM/Stock" to the sub forums of the private classifieds.

Maybe another Tag; i.e. (FS,TW,WTT,) Just add OEM/Stock? Everyone seemed to adjust to the new rules I would think they'd be alright with this one!

Just taking advantage of my "Premier Status"

Does anyone know why the old Marketplace was deleted?

I signed on to look for wheels but it was gone.

On topic, a better idea would be:

when creating a thread, you can choose the icon of the thread. Admins can create a small image (icon) that says OEM. Seller can select that when posting new threads.

example:

i think this would be easier/better than creating a new forum (section) for OEM parts only.

Edit: sorry, i might have put OEM in the wrong column, but you get the idea
