Anyway - regardless of the image; how do you make a GIF an avatar? There are lots of 'em around - does it have to do with file size? If so what's the max? If its something other than file size, what is it?

re: animation in avi, IDK, nothing special that I know of.
Not a fan of them myself, JMO but the motion gets annoying reading threads.
