That's a great point. Little guy should not pay the same as a mega company.

I found one site I like Jeff and it has not been hit by Big Brother. Everyone seems happy and content there. This site is mainly dealing with the FX/EX enthusiusts.

I hang around here still, yes. But I spend my time contributing to forums run by people who appreciate it, not forget about it in light of a hyper-technical rule violation.

Enough is enough. This is an online forum, not a President's Cabinet.
I left my350z in a blaze of glory after they moved the politics war forum to the paid membership area. Even though I was a lifetime member... All the teens on there thinking they are the **** because of a car got old. Plus activity was dropping off as all the entertaining members were banned or moved on.

Heavy handed moderation was the main reason, but that was just due to overly sensitive people complaining to them. I blame the new crybabies.

Wow, they even got rid of custom avatars (even those grandfathered in) in an attempt to garner more money. LOL

This page is a fine example of why.

In regards to moderating: It was over-moderated for a good time. I can see why some people were frustrated. (Others were just plainly looking to cause trouble).

I don't think that is much of an issue anymore. But then again, I haven't been as active lately. And I will say, there hasn't been enough done to make Premier Membership really "Premier".

^I thought this forum was over-moderated.... for about a month or two after I joined.

Honestly, at times I think it's under-moderated. I figure there will always be differing opinions but if half the people think it's over-moderated and half think it's under-moderated, you're probably fairly close to a happy medium.

More on topic though:

I hope you guys live up to that.

People get frustrated with mods when 99.9% of the time it's their own disregard of the rules that brought them the negative attention.

People are supposed to be adults but often fail to act like it. As the average age of the board decreases the buffonery increases.

Either way - I'm out. No more MOD (my choice) and if I had my way I'd be black instead of blue and wouldn't be alumni. It is what it is.

You think it's hard to find ish now? Wait until the more experienced mods stop sifting, sorting, filing, and deleting all the BS that clutters nearly every thread.

Have fun.

Speaking of how bad the forums have gotten, is there anyway to delete all my posts on my350z and delete my account there? As a matter of fact can you delete this one too?

^Yes it can be done, you need to PM an Admin on My350z and an Admin here.
The sites are not connected other than being owned by IB

Mod forum must be an interesting place. Confused about the mass exodus though. What's up with that? All feel like GW up there?
