Vendor Reviews

Did a search and couldnt find an actual section on the site for this. With the recent streak of threads and posts about vendors i think it would be a great idea to make a sticky that people can post their experiences in.

Most other forums I am on they have this weird that we dont. This would round up all the good and bad in one thread so people can make their own opinions. This would also highlight for new members who are not aware of how some vendors are.

Thanks. K bye.

This has been talked about a few times.
I agree it would be good to share experiences.
The tough part would to keep it flame free.

It shouldnt have to be flame free its a vendor review. If someone is getting the big end of it we should know. Doesnt have to be personal attacks at the person but people have a right to know if something shady is going on. Just my .02

This can be done no problem at all. I did a similiar thing over on MYG37. I agree with Ian though that it would have to be watched closely as needless flaming towards Vendors wouldn't be tolerated.

With the first post just lay out the ground rules about pm'ing the vendor first. Make it and actual review thread and not a solve your problem thread.

Basically the same thing as an iTrader though.

An itrader isnt usually a real insight into the actual transaction. An actual review with what people like and disliked in a common area would do wonders. It might also make a vendor think more about how they deal with customers.
