Changes to the mobile forum view?

Sometime around roughly 12/17/2017 I noticed a change when viewing the forums from a mobile device, when I clicked on a thread it USED TO take me to the last post that I've viewed which was incredibly handy. Now when I click on a thread it behaves exactly as the desktop version which sends you to the first page, first post.

I don't think this was a change via the mobile chrome browser because even devices I do NOT have updates turned on for started behaving this way also.

The "3 bars" option menu in the left top corner has changed as well, it used to be a lot bigger and had it's own frame that would appear as you scrolled up past the posts you have already read. Now it appears to be attached to the header bar and is considerably smaller than it used to be and makes actually selecting it much harder on devices with smaller screens.

In all I feel that the changes to the mobile view site are a step backwards for user friendliness.

I should use mobile view. I've been using garage talk. Mobile view lets you like comments too.

I don't think mobile view lets you thank users for comments.

I would have to check the 'thank you' feature, but they are continuing to make improvements to the mobile default.
