I’m unable to view images that have been uploaded to the site. I can view the thumbnail, but when I tap on them for enlarged view it is just a black screen. I can download the image and view it, but that’s not very convenient and I don’t want to download an image just to take a quick look at it. This is on all my devices, phone, laptop, iPad and after latest updates it still does it. Using Safari on all devices. Let me know if there is something I can do or check on my end. Thanks.

 

Let's test with a couple photos from my phone, I'll embed them directly into the text body. Do these behave the same? Only show as thumbnails that you are unable to view at a proper size?

Are you using a browser to access the site or are you using the old app, I believe the app is an abandoned project but I might be wrong.

 

When I tap on those they pop up in the viewer and I can see them. Usually it’s the photos that have the small thumbnail that I can’t view, not sure what the difference is. And it’s not just one or two, it’s every one. I am using a browser, Safari.

Kinda odd, not only are there the two photos that you posted when the viewer opens up, but there are two other photos that aren’t in the post, very weird.

 

You will need to disable your VPN or try another VPN.

Adblock is disabled. Can view them on all other forums, just not this one.

 

What extensions are you using? Re-reading your description this is not a known behavior or associated with VPN. I missed the thumbnail reference.

That it works on other forums, assuming they're not in the network, does not tell us much. The images that members upload to this site are hosted on an asset server. It's possible your environment is blocking it. However, I would suspect other functions to not work as well.

 

What's strange is I haven't seen a thumbnail images on this site in years. I thought they were all disabled? Everything I have seen are images embedded directly into the text body.
