Doesn't Canada's springtime start sometime in May? just kidding.

I'll be up in Montreal tomorrow, so I already know my 75-80 degree Georgia weather isn't gonna hold up there ^__^.

Not 75-80 but 68 and sunny my friend. Not the ice cold weather many of our US friends seem to think we always have.

^ This is in line with what 'da mayor' has mentioned US reps have stated. If so ... I am truly depressed since that's well beyond the 'window of opportunity' for me. Well, I was happy it was going to be a 2007 model, then sad when it said 2008, then happy again when Nissan Canada president said spring 2k7 ... now sad again with possible news of August 2007 release date.

Maybe I'll just buy a Lexus or the new Type-S (for near invoice). Don't have the sexiness of the G but at least it'll be available in the spring.

^ that's a shame. Many had hoped it would be earlier because of the CDN prez spring statement.

Guess he's not really in the know.

Or it was written earlier & the paper waited until they had some space to fill = old news.

sorry to burst anyones bubbles. but i work at infiniti as a salesman. the 2007 infinit g35 coupe is the same exact thing as the 2006. there is absolutely no difference. the price just jumped up a few hundered bucks here and there on packages and msrp. the redesigned one like the 2007 sedans that coupe will be in the showrooms near 2008. and the GTR that is coming out under Nissan now is going to be out mid 08-09 that is the release dates.

i wouldn't pay 38k for the type-s TL. it's impressive but once you get a rwd sedan the TL just won't do it. i had a worked nissan altima and not having traction just was not fun at all

^ Used to driving FWD since '91 (started with an 4th gen Accord EX). I still get wheel spin with my current car but it lacks the 6MT. I do think the Acura interior > Infiniti interior, even though the Acura's been out since 2004. Just that Honda/Acura doesn't have a sexy car like a G35 coupe. (NSX long gone and overpriced ...)
