** new coupe -- spring 2007 (according to Nissan Canada) **
An update from Nissan Canada president, Mark Grimm, published in the Windsor Star (Sept 27, 2006)
This bodes very well for me ...
The new Infiniti G35 sedan will be available this fall, with the hotly anticipated coupe version arriving in the spring of 2007.

That would really be sweet
I still wonder what "arriving in the spring of 2007" means.....
Does "arriving" mean in the show room,
or
"arriving" as in unveiling at a car show

hmmmm..... just re-read the quote;
The way it's worded, with reference to the sedan in the same sentence...
it does sound like it will be *here* in the spring.
That would most likely mean Detroit for the unveiling, in January.

You're right we won't get them before the US. They obviously don't have a firm release date yet if CA President is saying one thing and reps another, although I'd have to think the Prez would have a better idea than a sales rep. At least spring or summer is more promising than fall.

There was just a huge meeting with the Infiniti North America factory reps about the upcoming models and when they will be arriving for sales in the showrooms. People can just read the paper and read about rumors but I'll just keep all the rest of the info I know to the special few then.
But if you look at this article;
It is written as a first person, direct quote from Mark Grimm, not just a reporters account.
