Smile G37 coupe makes me smile...

... at the fact that I have an 05 coupe : ) Seriously while I really like the new look, I think the 03 - 07 models will become classics. Not that I expect them to be collectors items in 30 years, but they just look so good! I don't think I have met a single person who does not find the current coupe atleast good looking, if not absolutely sexy.

I am also keeping my fingers crossed that the older models will not take a huge depreciation hit. Judging by the styling of the new car, I think the current Gs will remain in high demand.

I was really going to consider an upgrade too the new coupe, but I think I will hold on to my baby for atleast a little while longer

Sorry...New Coupe + Interior+ 14inch Brakes+330HP = Better...I know its hard to admit it but after about 5 days of looking at this thing and looking at your older coupes there really is no comparison.

My first thought was the same, happy I have my 06.

At first glance the headlights and front end seemed a bit off. However, it may be a lot more appealing once we see it in person.

Wow, what a disappointment. The older G coupe is much hotter. The new one looks good from the side but at 45 degree angle the hood looks fat and bubbly. I am sticking with my waitlist on the M. Congratulations G35 owners. Your car will go down history as one of the best looking coupe. I do like the new G sedan over the old tho.

I agree that the 14" rotors are nice, but the lack of torque is very disappointing. I'm sure that the magazines will be able to get decent 0/60 and 1/4 mile times by punishing the car with 6K RPM launches, but how many of us will drive our cars that way? As a matter of fact I wish that all magazines would substitute those comparisons with 5/60 MPH and 40/80 MPH runs. That would give buyers a far better idea of how their car performs on the street.

The new car doesn't look as good as the old model, and on the street it will only be marginally faster than an unmodded G35 coupe. So I'm supposed to buy the G37 because it has 14" rotors? I don't think so.

Don't be fooled by the "lack of torque". With WWEL the torque won't be as peaky, it will be even flatter and making power down low and up top where the older VQ doesn't.
