G37 brakes on a g35?

How much would it cost to put the g37 brakes onto the current g35;s?

Just a random question. Those akebono brakes, and 14 inch rotors/4-piston sound pretty sweet.

Impossible Q to answer at this point.

Something similar, is I'm curious what wheel choices we'll have. I'm sure the new Gen has the same bolt pattern, but what about offsets? I hope they are interchangeable. I love the lips/concave spokes on the old design. Plus, selling the 19'' Sport wheels from Gen II will be easier if Gen I owners can buy them, and vise versa for 2005-07 19'' Rays.

We don't know for sure, but it wouldn't be cheap. Furthermore, what would be the point unless you were road tracking your car?

It would be cheaper to get an aftermarket BBK. OEM stuff cost too much.

depends on where you get it. grubbs, riverside infiniti, performance nissan, etc have better deals on oem stuff than most. granted oem is still really expensive.

nothing personal... but...

What's the point of Infiniti putting them on the 07 to begin with?

While we're at it, what's the point of 330+HP unless you are racing/driving aggressively? Not like you're going to pull any boats with these cars.

These are performance cars... why do so many people here act all disapproving when someone wants more performance out of them?

sheesh..

A big Brembo or Stoptech kit would be the way to go!
(From $1500 to $3500)
Here are a few for our G's:

Well brakes are basically bolt-on, and are parts that need to be constantly maintained. It was just a random question, but I guess I can see why aftermarket would be a better choice.

It's a very valid question and I'd like to know too. The 14" Akebonos would be an insane oem upgrade! But I think even the "std" brakes are close to 13" now. Hell, I'd take those vs my puny 03 sedan brakes!

I' m thinking about BBK since my OEM look puny behind my Thruxton 20's. Anybody know info about AP Racing BBK? All I know is Stillen pushes them.
