Im going for a IP, or white on a dark interior if avaliable...6MT with no nav, but i may consider it simply for the back up camera. the 19s are a must...and as for mods this time ill get springs and 5% Tint to start off.

My dealer said White/Black is 99% going to be a combo.

As you can see from my registration date (almost the same as yours ), I've been looking at a G35 for a long time. However, every new model year, there was something that annoyed me so I kept my current car. No point in buying something as expensive if you're not totally satisfied, plus it just meant for me to save my money even more for a bigger downpayment.

I really love and am totally satisfied with the G37 body and features so I'm 90% sure I'll take the plunge this year. I have enough money saved where financing won't even be needed .

I'll be picking up one of the 08 G37's

Black on black
5AT
Sport tuned package
Premium package
Bose studio on wheels
Navigation
4WAS

I think that pretty much covers it. I cant wait to see one in person and take it for a spin. I can't wait to get out of my current problem car and get into something that I actually like.

Quote: I'm probably going to go with the G37 Sport. Mine will probably stay generally stock except for wheels, unless they make chrome from the factory.

If anyone here is a hip-hop fan, I'll borrow a cleaned-up version of a lyric from Rich Boy: "Ridin' with no tint so they know it's me."

As far as mods go, I'm going to look into fuel economy and power mods. We'll see what kind of mods are available but I definitely want to add a turbine. Either turbo- or supercharger.
That's about as far from stock as you can go

My deposit is down

Journey with Sport
5 A/T
Black/Charcoal
Premium
Navi-maybe, depends what they get
No active steer

Basically I am no.2 in line (we'll see if that holds up!) and get first right of refusal based on what comes in as the car cannot really be "ordered" yet since there is no pricing.

This will be the first time in my life that I will want the summer to go fast...

I am with you on that one, I am like summer needs to hurry up and end, so I can fill the void in my garage with a G37. For the most part I know what I want:

G37 Journey
Sport Package
5AT
Platinum Graphite Exterior (or whatever new name they call it)
Graphite Interior
Preminum Package
Spoiler

I am torn about 4WAS, what do you all think about it, if anyone had it on their old coupe, I would appreciate you input on whether you think it is worth it. What are the benefits of it?

Fully loaded 6mt
Colorwise I'd probably jump on that new slate blue color they have out. After seeing Speed's sedan, its definitely growing on me.

Modwise: 20's (iforged or something) and a drop..thats it for me.

I have RAS on my 06 CPE I don't really notice it that much to be honest
I think the only time I really can tell anything is during a little aggressive driving which I think was the intent behind it in the first place

I most likely will not get it on my 08 cpe I think I save the money and get a nice set of wheels instead

Thanks for posting a response, I was not sure if it actually did anything dramatic. Think I will save the $1500 and put it in stock or something!!

Unless you are seriously gonna track the car, I would not get that option. I think the active rear steer is overkill for the street and you would be better off spending your money on something else. The technology is cool and offering it on a vehicle at this price level is pretty amazing, but I think it would not be of much benefit to the average driver.

Thanks, G37Coupe, as of right now I have no plans on tracking the car. Just want an awesome daily driver that makes me smile everytime I see it, not to mention, making going to work a whole lot more fun!! I appreaciate your input, you just saved me about $1500!
