maybe both cars can run 5.5 sec from 0 to 60, and g37's definitely cheaper and fun to drive

I hope you're kidding. I don't see any meaningful similarities. Although, it isn't unusual today to see some resemblance of styling or cues across different manufacturers and models. You've lessened your credibilty with comments about a cheap rip off.
