Don't forget, silver is a more luxurious looking color. A vibrant color like red would be great for sports cars wanting to look more flashy (ala Challenger). But, this is the luxury car market and they want it to be as neutral and elegant as possible, and for that, only silver will do.

However, I do agree it is getting old to see every new car in silver.

 

silver on the GT-R looked great..silver on the G37 looked i think they should have unveiled a decked out sport model in red or black or gunnmetal.

 

Gunmetal would have been awesome, I hope that they offer gunmetal as one of the new colors, but I doubt they will!! Not a big deal, it is still HOT!!

 

Lexus showed off the IS-F in BLUE- DROOL!!!!!!!!!! I'm no Lexus fan either.

 

omg! im not alone on this?! Thank You God. Some one agrees. i think part of the negative response on the pics is the color. All i have to say is i cant judge the car quite yet. I am going to wait until its realese to judge on if its worth the buy. Let me just make a statement here. When looking at the infiniti g35 now and looking at the different colors who would choose Silver?! I think that is where the turn off is ladies and gentlemen. all i have to say was the blue that lexus unveiled the is-f was simply stunning, infiniti should learn something
