Don't question their logic or lack thereof.

Why? lol What does the extra .3/.4 do for you? Do you race often? Infiniti didn't create the car for the test track.

The 2007 G35 Sedan can do 13.8 @ 103 mph...

But I have a feeling its just this particular test that will yield such un-inspiring results.

Ii predict 13.5 @ 104 max...

.
Maybe it's a different track, and different driver, and maybe different weather conditions, and maybe different alititude...

...and maybe you shouldn't mag race.

the g37 coupe is great looking car
but wanted g37 to be its own class
but bmw 335 coupe will outperform it in speed...
but g37 looks better
maybe in 2009 when I,m ready I will trade my g35
for g37
they need to get the weight down..

Biggest damn hipocrits ever. They picked BMW over Infiniti in previous tests because of refinement, and now that the G37 has it, it's bad? Christ...

It looks like it will still be close in performance to the BMW 335i, but at a lower price-point.

For those of you looking for more of a pure performance car, stop wasting your time with the G35/37 and go get yourself a 350Z, or the upcoming 370Z, which will have the same engine as the G37 but will weigh much less.

The G37 is not intended to be a "sports car"... it's a luxury GT/coupe.

We have to wait for more tests from other sources. Right now it stands at 5.3 [5.5] with those tests.

Just for reference on people doing it better then car and driver.....

Car and driver hit 4.8 0-60 i n the 335I, no other average joe can really beat that by much.

I agree, 350z 2007 is a monster now, wait until it gets the 3.7..........All it needs now is a facelift. Only about a million 350z driving right now which look the same....Its like the mustang scenario.
