Just wanted to know if anyone is expecting to take delivery on 8/16? Or will it be on 8/21 or a later date? What have you been told?

 

Delivery of my new G37 is august 30 now. Just updated this past week from week of August 31 projected date. Mine has nav which I heard can cause some delays now, hopefully they are cautious and mine will be here in a week or 10 days though.

 

When did you order yours I just ordered mine on august 9 not sure when it arrives.

 

the dealer I went to said theirs were arriving 8/21

 

end of august.... nothing before the preview night of aug 16th

 

I ordered mine back in April (and the first to order from this dealership) and they said theirs werent expected until after the 21st of August.

 

I test drove the G37S A/T today. It had all the options except 4WAS. It definetely looked great in person and driving it was fun. Interior is greatly improved from my 04 coupe. My car was scheduled for September delivery but the dealer said that the update as of yesterday shows an August 30 delivery.

 

I ordered back in April or May, Ive leased/bought 9 Infinitis from my dealer and got the first G35 coupe he delivered and one of the early M45's as well. Hope to be early in getting my new G37. I think the official date quoted to me is the norm right now, Infiniti has in the past beat their official date by a few days as I recall.

While driving today on Guam, I saw 2 black G37's on the road, guess infiniti here already sold them.

 

Wow. That's loyalty and that's a lot of cars.

Chris at Riverside Infiniti is still insisting that mine will come around August 21st - August 23rd. I hope so because I was the first person to put a deposit on it there.

 

Thats cool yours will be here next week. what car will you race first. Dont forget break in period.

 

I'm not buying the car to race... especially not street race... that's just stupid. Track racing is fine but I'm just into that stuff. To me it would be a waste of my time. I'm buying the car more for looks than for performance. Last saturday I took my brother and my mom to Riverside Infiniti to look at the car and they both really liked it. My mom said that she likes the car more than my brother's car, which is a G35 coupe.. or was, now he has a 335i. My brother said that it has improved also... primarily on the interior. He says that the interior alone wouldve been his reason to upgrade from his '03 G35 coupe. It's an entirely different car on the inside. but back on main topic... I dont know how long the break-in period for the G37 is but I'm assuming for like 1,000-1,500 miles.
