Hey guys, I am thinking of tinting my lights out. I was looking at some on e-Bay. Let me know what you think. Here are the links to the auctions:
Taillights
Headlights

Headlights
I know painting the housing would look nice but that also means taking the headlights off the car and taking the headlight assembly apart. Frankly, I do not want to deal with any moisture issues for taking the light apart.
I would rather install the overlays which will also protect the lens a little bit.

I could do that, but I will save the money and get them from the links I provided above. That guy sells the exact same overlays at a better price. It is my understanding that Blue Bat has a good reputation but he is not the only resource available.Originally Posted by wsolo08

So these cover the entire headlight lens? If they do and don't have cutouts for the light beams, that's a very dumb idea.

don't tint the headlights, since the bezels are chrome the tint will make the headlights look brown

taillights is cool but the headlight NO! if you seal up the housing correctly you wont have any issues

If you wanna protect the headlights put a clear vinyl on top of the lenses but definitely paint the housings

Do it the right way or don't do it at all. Black headlights look like **** and you won't be able to see anything so you'll probably write off your car. Then at least your headlights will be open and you can paint the inside!

^Exactly why do you think I paid $90 for tint & had somone install it? Cause the cheapo **** on ebay turns ur lights brown & is so thin it creases & is extremely hard to work with, either do it right or don't do it at all.
