*Help* Dash Rattle with *With Video*

Hi I have been trying to sort out this dash rattle for quite some time now with no luck. Has anyone had a similar issue as in my video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqwG...ature=youtu.be

- I have tried removing the cowl and wipers (the cowl is a common problem)
- Removed the centre speaker and poked around to see if anything is lose or ratling
- Removed the two top vents up by the windshield.

Pushing on the dash or wedging anything between the glass and dash does not do anything.

It sounds like it is coming from the centre of the dash about 1 inch below.

Attached is a video. The car is out of warranty, I brought it to the dealership last week and they could n't resolve it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know this sounds really stupid but we have run into this a bunch at my dealer and it was the battery hold down not being fastened down tight enough. Sounded like it was coming from right out of the dash. Hope this helps bro.

Thanks!

It was the battery tie down! The battery was slightly loose and would squeak over bumps. subsequently the vent intake is right by the battery and this is why you would hear the noise by the top vents.

Thanks again Jason!

I don't have tie downs and use a bungee cord (redneck moment). I really should buy those. Where'd you end up buying the tie downs?
