Why is the G37 IPL black all have red interior???
OK I sold my G35 last week and now I am hunting for a used G37 Coupe and it is not easy. I want a black on black and this battle is so hard. The 2008 Journey Sport is the best option because you can get it with the Akebono Calipers, spoiler, and a better looking front bumper, but has a 5 speed automatic compared to the 7 speed in the 2009+. Then I'm looking at the 09-10's and no sport options available, but you can get AWD. The non sport version is just not as good looking and I want the big silver calipers because it will look sweet with 20" concaves. So then in order to get an AWD G37xS you need to go 2011+. Since the price jumps up so much I was looking for an IPL, but every single black one has RED interior and to me it is freakin ugly! No offense to everyone who has one, but I really love black on black. Makes me regret selling my G35. The G35 you can upgrade to an aftermarket stereo and the G37 has no aftermarket stereo kit options. It's killing me here. It's like everything I want requires me to find a 2011+ which is $25K when I was wanting to spend $18K. This is not my every day driver. Only my toy car, so I didn't want to drop so much money. I was all geeked out because I got pretty good money for my G35. $12K for an 04 when I bought it in 2011 for $13K. Sorry for the ramble. Just wanted to vent.

HA! No..
The g37 is round and bubbly. The 35 has WAAYYY more classic styling. The 37 looks 10x more dated. Also, the 37 has the same amount of TQ as a first gen G35 coupe, and TQ is what matters, soooo, anyone who knows cars knows the 35 is the better car overall. The 37 is OK if yer a chick I guess.

Man I looked up over 10 black ones and every black IPL had red interior except for a salvaged rebuilt title one I saw on ebay.
Anyways, I ended up scooping up a 2008 G37 Journey Sport model. Comparing this to my 2004 G35 Coupe I can say that it is a lot faster, has better braking, and has nice stiff suspension. I will have to say I almost bought a 2010 G37x and I would agree the G35 look was better than that one, but not better than the G37 sport. On the g37x the front bumper was more like the G35 and I don't care for the chrome wannabe spoiler, but the sport ones has a nice spoiler. They were only $2000 difference, but the Akebono brakes, 19" wheels, front bumper and spoiler just made me get the 08. The interior is hands down way better than the G35. The only thing downside I am seeing is the ability to go to an aftermarket stereo and the trunk seems smaller. And no availability on aftermarket blacked out headlights.

Arguing over subjective things is silly. If you like a G37, you like a G37. If you don't like it, you don't like it. Trying to make others feel the same as you is a waste of time and doesn't do anything to help the OP here.
OP, you know you can just buy the brakes and add them yourseld? The kit is about $1K so if you save $4-5K or so with an older model, you can just add them on yourself.

Plus when they're off you can PC them to any color your little heart desires
