2009 Battery Questions
So I'm trying to help someone replace the battery on their G37. It is a 2009 and the car won't hold a charge anymore. The sites that automatically give you battery info seem to indicate he needs a type 35 battery but from the info I was able to find on the internet, it seems like a 24f would fit? Is that the case for this year?
Also, in terms of AGM-- is it worth the extra price? Trying to keep costs as low as possible for him in the short term during the current situation.

There is no Costco anywhere nearby. What specifically am I looking for with the battery? Are all group size 35 batteries the same? I am struggling to find specifics and the manual doesn't seem to have anymore info. We called a local place and they said the only battery they have that the computer says will fit is $270 + an $18 fee (I guess trading in the old battery cancels this).

I'm on my third Infiniti and purchased two previous batteries at the dealer.
The dealer was competitively priced and they washed and vacuumed my cars
David:
FWIW I just returned from my local Infiniti dealer getting an oil change and a tire rotation.
While there I noticed prices for various services displayed on a large flat screen in the customer waiting area.
The price displayed for a battery replacement was $199.95 for an 84 month battery
Just sayin
