I'm confused here bcus my color looks like everybody's but I thought I had brilliant silver (BS)? My paint code in the door jam says K23 which on my touch up paint is also k23 and says brilliant silver? Attached is my car and the next 2 pics are of the paint codes on ionic dynamics website for their painted parts. Is SM silver metallic? So confused!

K23 is Liquid Platinum. KY0 is Brilliant Silver. LP came out in 06, BS was 03-05. There's a slight difference between the two, and most aftermarket touch up paint companies don't always follow the manufacturers 'marketing name' for a color. That's why getting the actual paint code is so important. There's just waaay too many different shades of "Silver Metallic" (LP/BS/DG are all silver metallics) out there.

You have LP. As long as you order with the correct paint code (don't worry too much about name), you should be alright.

 

Something's up with the fitment of your diffuser sangha

 

Car manufacturers often change the colors that they use from time to time. Many people confuse Brilliant Silver with Silver Metallic. If your car is an 06 then I'm 100% sure that it's K23 Silver Metallic, since Brilliant Silver was not an option for that year.

So did the name liquid platinum get made up by G drivers because infinity names it silver metallic?

 

Liquid Platinum is the official Infiniti color name for 06 n 07 G35's.
