AWESOME ""new" parts purchase!
I found a great deal on a set of "brand new in box" subframe connectors for my '66 Nova on one of the Chevy forums.
I got an amazing price and his description was true but it wasn't exactly what I expected.
They are "BNIB".....BUT they were originally purchased in 1974! lol
They had been sitting in the garage for 36 years, unopened. The box smelled and looked like @$$ but the product was perfect.
Check out the hand-drawn diagram, instructions, and warranty card:
Should I send in the warranty card? lol

'66...always been my favorite car and I finally knew enough to do all the work myself. It has been locked in the garage and under construction for a year now. I finally got it all put back together last week and fired it up for the first time yesterday. I is running strong but needs a tune. As soon as I put the new wheels on and wash it, I will snap some shots.

I did pick up some nice parts in Pomona last weekend but these were from the forum.
I have a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS5 which I feel the same way about, but in reality the car handles like a lumber wagon, the brakes are a joke (very hard to stop at speeds over 100 mph) and it can pass everything on the highway except a gas station. You can actually see the gas gauge drop every time you floor it, no joking. I still love it because it makes me feel like I am 19 again every time I drive it.
Nova's and Beaumont were very popular, in high school I helped a buddy stuff a 427 into a 69 Nova. He twisted the frame on it a few months latter, funny.
