Looks cheap.

Anybody who even has any interest in cars knows you just painted your stock wheels.

Eh some people just dont have the time to sand refinish and respray rims. I knew a higher up at my last command who used 3m undercoating on his front lip because it kept peeling and getting nicked up.
a
BTW clear bra was not out that i know of. It looked good and it functioned like he wanted too.

My car is 7 years old now, it has 60K miles on it...I havent done anything to it as far as mods besides the rims now. I have saved my money not buying over priced rims, engine spacers, exhausts, air filters or any other garbage like that. I wanted to change something that I can put back to stock if i want. I know its not volks rims but most people are too stupid to know the difference, they just see black rims. In a few more years ill trade my well maintained not moded car in and buy another infiniti and leave it stock as I did this one. I know the plastidip is cheap and gimmicky

the sad part is .. you shouldn't even HAVE TO explain yourself LOL you did what you wanted to and that's really all that matters .. I personally don't think it came out bad and, as long as you're happy with it, it seems like a successful MOD (lol) .. you're just like my cousin .. he has his little fun with his cars but keeps them mostly stock because he knows the resale value TANKS when you start changing things lol congrats and most some more pics when you can of the up close effect, I'm curious to see why soo many people are against this .. thanks

Not a big deal to me. Fairly simple and cheap option to change the look of your car and revert quickly with no hassle. Looks good OP.

Yah then it doesn't really matter if u powdercoat ur stock wheels or plastidip them, ppl would still go "hey they r just oems, nth special" n they will both look cheap to them. So why not save some money to buy nice wheels in the future?

and to op, looks gd except they r stilll 17's

Good job OP! Im running 17s to..I have an 03. I was thinking of doing something similar to mine. Sometimes though I dont even want to post on here cause I dont have 20s ya know? We dont drive lambos or porshes so some ppl need to get off the high horse. Some of us have mortgages and other things that come first before 3k wheels!

Personally I don't like it. If I saw it on the road, it'd look like it was on steelies until I see it up close.

Doesn't look to bad. I had painted black wheels, and they lasted for about a year before they started flaking. Is this stuff supposed to last longer, hold up better?
