How can I fix this.

Somebody I guess was parking and hit my bumper. Put a nice round whole( the black can be seen) the size of a penny if not just a bit smaller. I touched it up with infinitis touch up for the IP. I first put the base coat, let it sit over night and then today I put two coats of the clear. I made it bulge out a bit so that afterwards I could wet sand that piece down. But the touch up is a bit darker. Is there a way I can make it look lighter. I dont expect it to look perfect but considerably better.

it might be due to the difference in light refraction b/c of the "bumpy" spot. Try sanding it down first!

usually paint fades thats why paint shops have a harder time color matching... esp colors like white/black and paints with metallics or pearls in it.. Your IP shoudl be no different with touch up paint

After wetsanding it down and making it even I noticed the color was still the same. The factory clear coat has a grayish tint to it. Its supposed to look like the bumper color but it was definitely a lot darker. What I did was scrape all the touch up paint off and put on a different touch up paint, the one that the body shop gave me when they fixed my car up. It looks a million times better now. Its a bit lighter but looks much better.
