how to apply touch up paint on IP

how to apply touch up paint on IP

i bought some touch up paint for my car today but when i checked the box there is no instructions on how to apply the paint.
I have a ivory pearl paint which one goes first coz i got 2 bottles?

IDK but I'm guessing it would be the same - My mom had a '90 pearl yellow Z and as I recall the flat goes on first, followed by the pearl. Which really makes the only sense if you stop to think about it. It wouldn't match to use the pearl first, flat last.

Did you get the OEM Nissan QX1 touch-up paint? If so, dont even bother because that color blends in very poorly with the body, looks even better without it.

If you still wanna give it a try. You put the base coat white(BC) first, let it dry for 24hr, then put on the top coat (TC).

have you tried it? coz i just wanna cover the chip coz its bare dont want any rust on it

Yes, I've tried it. The top coat makes it look too dark compare to the rest of the body. My area was sideskirt though, not metal.
