Cuz chevy has a very cheap and basic way to program keys that can be easily bypassed. At nissan i have to use 2 computers back and forth for 30minutes. And as mechanics we get paid for the work we do so y would i program a key for free if i wont get paid for that 30min when i can do a brake job for example in that time and get paid 1 1/2 hr for that?

It suks as a dealership technician that way but can be good if ur fast.
