I tried the ECU reset, will see what happens....btw, I was on another site reading some service bulletins. You can only print up two a day as a free member and I just printed the second one up when I saw this one...not sure what it says or means as I can't open it up. Its probably not a biggy, however:
ITB02-055
2003 INFINITI G35 COUPE; BATTERY SERVICE PRECAUTIONS
If the battery of a G35 Coupe is disconnected while:
• the doors are closed and
• the windows are in the fully raised position

This is not true. Fuel economy has no direct relation to engine RPM's, and everything to do with how far down you are pushing the gas pedal. You could be driving your car with the gas pedal pushed down 1/2 way in 6th gear at 1600 RPM's, and be getting 7 MPG during the duration of doing that..... or you could go at the same speed but in 4th gear with your foot lightly on the gas and at 2900 RPM's, and you would be getting something like 18-20 MPG during that duration.
Fuel economy is basically broken down to speed divided by throttle position. It doesn't matter what gear you're in or how many RPM's it takes for you to be at that speed. The optimum fuel economy is usually achieved by finding the right gear to be in so that you can cruise with the lowest Throttle Position % possible.

Another opinion on how to drive....:)
can be achieved by using the cruse control. If I can take my wife's Vet
and drive from here to NoCal and get 24 MPG that's just remarkable. Plus
with the cruse on I pass all those tards that can't maintain a constant
speed. I see this daily, drivers going uphill speed drops to 40 MPH and on
the downhill it's more like 70+ MPH. Great for mileage....

you can reset the ecu by disconnecting the negative side of the battery for
an hour, do frequent oil changes with synthetic, keep your air filter super
clean but the reason behind your poor gas mileage is your right foot! Our
cars are fun to drive and listen to, that's the problem! No one in their right
mind ever purchased a g35 for the mileage....did you?

You are 100% correct Blue Meanie...PSI stands for PRESSURE per SQUARE INCH...IT DOESNT MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALLER A TIRE IS TO THE ORIGINAL, THE PRESSURE WILL STILL BE THE SAME AT 35 PSI. Think about it most all cars have relatively a 35 PSI regardless if the car is a sedan or an SUV. Check it out and you'll see what we mean.
