My 03 Coupe with 26k miles on it is having a wrong gas reading also..when the tank is filled up as much as i can get in it..the gauge needle shows in between 3/4 and full...and when i drove it till the gas idiot light came on...it only took 15 gals to top it off again. So where is my problem??? In the gauge or these tank sensors, or some kind of calibration issue....Is there any known diy to fix this problem that works. Thanks Eric

Most likely the fuel sending units. The only way to know for sure is to have the dealer test them to see if they are sending correct signals or not. If they are sending good signals then it may be a problem with the gauge. There probably isn't a DIY for this as you have to get into the tank to change the two sending units.
