I used my stock jack the other day to inspect some stuff after I hit a curb to avoid a car. It worked fine :O, I did forget to put the hand brake on. I sprayed some silicon spray all over the joints and stuff to keep it lubed. When I am going to do my oil change I am going to use it as a backup while using my rhino ramps.

It may be nissan crappy jacks. I've snapped and bent 2 G jacks, collapsed a Z jack, and bent a maxima jack.

All proper jack points and done properly.

My first G jack snapped because I just used that damn thing soooo many times that the structural integrity gave in.

i've bent many a jacks do to the stress put on it when trying to raise a slamm'd car. depending on whether your car is lower'd & where you placed the jack, it happens...their cheap, but expensive jacks...

Well what do you know 3-4 months later, my friends G37 stock jack collapsed on him, and the front right rotor when right onto the pavement....he got it back up before I got there to help, luckily no damage to the rotor, but it's still dangerous cause I know some of you like to crawl under while working or checking something minor....
