locked keys in trunk - Fml
hey guys... so idk if any of you have heard about that FML website, i've never been on it but i get the gist. i guess this is a tech question; my little g35 FML happened about 15 minutes ago when i was getting my car all packed up to go out for a night of fun. i put everything in my trunk - including my keys - and closed the trunk. i own an '05 (no trunk button) and my car is currently locked. i pretty much accepted paying the $80 for a locksmith but gave in to let myself have a bit of hope and post here... was i right with my initial slacker call to concede to the power of my trunk or is there any possible think i can do?????
my bros a technician... he wasnt answering his phone but he just called me and said he could get in with a slimjim for me tomorrow. i still wanna go out tonight though if i can, any one know any crazy age old methods?
Nothing that will help you right now, but I suggest getting one of those wallet keys (i dunno the real name). My car didn't come with one, but I spent $30 (I think, its been a while) to buy one from Infiniti.
I have a spare, but being able to open my car quickly without having to call someone is $30 well spent in my book.
