So yesterday I get in my car and start it up. Turn the A/C on to get hot air. I checked the hose and sensor inside the car and they were still attached/plugged in. Popped the hood to take a look and saw that the clutch to the compressor was missing.

I am totally baffled. How does it just disappear? I never heard anything fall off or anything!

Anyone else have this happen?

it's not likely for a ac clutch to fall off on our cars. probably too much tension on the drive belts or lack of lubrication (pag oil is used). how often do you use your a/c? was noise present the last time you used your ac? maybe low freon? these kind of problems often happens to chysler caravans..
