Window motor died

My passenger side window is stuck down at the moment. When I try to roll it up it clicks like a relay, but does nothing. I'm trying to distinguish between motor failure or a cheaper electrical component hehe. Going to taking off the door panel to play with it a bit when i get off work today. I'm new to the G, are there any instructions on taking off the door panel?
Thanks,
Josh

I am having this problem off and on as well (passenger side). It only seems to get stuck when fully up or fully down. Never in between. So I never roll it all the way down now. Sometimes When I get in it wont roll down. Then, other times it works fine.

Being an intermittent problem makes it hard to diagnose. I havent pulled the door apart yet, but plan too.

I already have to get in the driver side door to replace the door lock actuator, but now the passenger window has priority. I was gonna get a new door lock actuator with this paycheck too. Fvck!

The window died yesterday evening when cruising Palos Verdes and didn't work when i tried again this morning. Not going to be intermittent for me, it's gonna rain here tomorrow too.

mine does it too. here's the trick ive found that helps, open the door, hold the switch up or down, (depending on what you want) and close the door while holding the switch in the position you want.

^^THAT DID IT!!!!
Thanks man. That trick got the window up. It sounded like crap on the way up too.
Definitely gonna replace the motor. Auto Zone quoted me $144 (ebay starts at $189 (buy it now) for the most part). Just thought that was interesting. I need a door lock actuator for the driver side, Auto Zone = $90, ebay = $150. I thought ebay was supposed to be cheaper than real life? lol
