Upgrade to ignition button

does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade from the keyless turn style ignition on a 06 coupe to the push button stly on the newer models?

Check with KP Technologies. I'm pretty sure they either have something or are working on one.

Yes it can be done. I have taken are ignition out and I dont think it would be easy imo. But it can be done

But if it was easy then every one would have it and then it would not be fun.

retrofitting the OEM setup will definitely be a ball buster.

its been done on an 04. search for it. he put the button on the auxillary plug on the drivers side of the center console. the 05-07 do not have this so you will have to put it somewhere else.

I was thinking more of removing the turn style one we have and adding the push button one of newer models. Not just adding a button.
