Has anyone cleaned an AEM Dryflow Filter?

I have the AEM Dryflow filter on my AEM CAI and it's been a while since I've had it installed. I think it's time for a cleaning. Now, the AEM website recommends I purchase a cleaning kit which includes some sort of soap that I put in a bucket with water and wash the filter out. I'm wondering if it's just some dish or cleaning detergent I can use from home w/o spending the extra money? Does anyone know if it's okay to use some sort of cleaning product on the filter other than the cleaning kit AEM sells?

Thanks.

They are just trying to get you to spend more money with them by offering their cleaning kit. I bet its just some sort of mild detergent.

Dish soap is nice and mild, I would stick with that. A little goes a long way.

Make sure its nice and dry before reinstalling.
