A/C and Audio went dead

when I was at a red light coming home from work, A/C turned on by itself at 70 degrees. I tried to turn it off, but the none of the AC buttons worked. seemed like it had no power. I tried the audio (AC and audio controls are connected) audio buttons also went dead. a min later, after pressing "off" button (AC) it turned off and the radio came on. everything was fine again for 5 min, then the ac turned on at 70 degrees again, buttons not working.

anyone know whats going on?
something wrong w/ the fuse?
bad connection between ac and audio controller to the car?

it could be a circuit board short on the ac/radio controls.. this happened to me once and i smacked my center consoleon its side cuz i was pissed... hasnt come back yet...

My co-worker had this happen to her and the dealer fixed it for like 800 bucks.
