Window Problem. Switch? or motor reset?

So I just had my driver window motor replaced a year ago so im pretty sure the problem isnt that. What is happening is sometimes when my window is all the way down, i go to press "auto up" and you can hear the motor, but the window only rolls up about a half an inch, then goes back down. If you sit there about 5 seconds you can hear the switch reset, and then it can be rolled up. Is the problem the switch? or maybe the motor needs to be reset? Thanks!

Mine does something similar but goes all the way up then halfway back down. I have to bring it up in manual mode for it to stay up.

I had a similar problem with my window going all the way up and then falling down about 4.5 inches. Took it to the dealer and they said I needed a new window motor. Had the window motor replaced and works like a charm now. I think it's a pretty common problem. Nissan should issue a recall for it. I have an extended warranty, which covered the cost though. Otherwise I think it was about $300.

you just need a motor reset. If it goes up and down, the motor works just fine.

Resetting it is a procedure that tells the motor when to stop and when to slightly open a gap when the door opens and close. The reason of the reoccurrence is that the gap eventually changes and rams into the top of the car, causing it to adjust itself to the halfway-up position. Almost like a crappy designed safety mechanism.

ok, thanks for the information on the window motor, I'll try to reset it because I had to do it on my driver side once already. What do you guys think about the door lock? do you think it's the switch? or the door-lock motor (actuator)?

^^You haven't mentioned your door lock problem, but the best fix for the door lock is:
