Weird Battery Problem - *Video*
So I got my battery changed about 3 months ago, got a brand new Interstate battery. It was working fine, but about 2 weeks ago I went away for a week and when I came back home the car wouldn't start. I thought I might have left a light on or something so I had to jumpstart it by connecting it to my dad's car for almost an hour and it finally got enough juice to start it up. I do have an amp connected to my double din head unit, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the problem since it turns off when you turn the car off and I've had it for almost 5 months now. So things were pretty normal for about a week, I was able to turn the car on pretty normally. Recently, I have been commuting through train and I hadn't used the car in a week. So today I try to turn it on and the same thing happens. Except this time I hear a clicking noise every time I open the driver side door. Also, I can't unlock/lock the car using the remote key and none of the interior lights, cluster or gauges turn on. Is this a battery problem, alternator, spark plug or what? Here's the video:

OEM Battery Specs from my 04 User Guide
Type USA 80D23L
Capacity (V/AH) 12 V/ 52AH
Cold Crank Current 582 A @ 0°F (-18°C)
Charging may only be a short term fix and the battery may have no reserve - have you checked electrolyte levels? You should measure the current draw when your car is off to make sure your not draining the battery.
I replaced mine with an Optima Red Top which has 720CCA and a 90min reserve. I think it was a model 25 - which has the positive battery post on the left top side. Used to have all sorts of problems until I replaced the battery.
