so i checked #85 and its the right one but its not blown. i got my new oem o2's today and ill see if they fix it. i just wonder why they both went at the same time?

also my buddy that checked the codes said that its a "o2 slow warm" does this mean that they arent dead but just not getting enough elec. from the car?

 

Not likely both would fail at the same time, unless poisoned (lead, silica), Not likely on pump gas, however some silicone sealers can do them in. As far as I know the ECU only
looks to see if the heater is open or shorted, not the actual tempature. The ECU may decide the sensors mV signal is not coming online quickly enough. But this is only a guess on my part. MHellmam had an excellent post a couple of pages back, that may be worth reviewing. The service manual has some good info and procedures, including connector and wiring info. Look in the index, A/F sensor. Nissan refers to the primary O2's as the A/F (air fuel) sensors, these are the first ones the exhaust sees, and the engine uses these to set the amount of fuel. There are another pair of O2's after the cats, their purpose is to confirm the the catylitic converters are working. Let me know if you can't find a manual, I can send you a link

 

sounds to me that the HFC's you have aren't heating up the post cat O2's to the specs that the OEM cats did. Just a hunch though.

put them in and the light went away for about 24 hours. now the lights back on maybe i need to unhook the batt. and try the 50mi. highway drive over again...

 

im bringing it up to my tuner... last resort before blowing it up and getting a new camaro hahah

so my tuner took it for a "quick ride" and said everything seems fine with my tune and fuel map. thinks my idle is too low but hes got to check it out further lol
