'03 G35 sedan

I have an '03 G sedan with about 58K miles. I just had to replaced both front and back rotors. Anyone had to replaced their rotors or am I the only one?

Just to clarify, are you asking if anyone else has had to replace their rotors?

Yes. The reason I'm asking because my car only has a little over 58K miles and I have to replaced both of my rotors already.

Got it. So you are concerned that your rotors lasted 58K. I switched over to a BBK and have driven 50K on them and haven't had to replace my rotors yet so I'm not the best person to ask, but 58K seems like you got a lot of miles out of the rotors.

My EBC 3GD rotors lasted me a good 50-60k miles. I swapped my stockers out around 30k in, they still had plenty of life I just had a great offer on some EBC rotors and went with it.

I have a 2003 G35 Sedan and I have replaced the front and back rotors about 7-8 times since 2003.

That year was known for the brakes going very quickly.

what?? are you serious?? i thought it's only my brake. i have a 2003 g sedan too. i don't remember exactly how many miles my front rotors lasted for. but i think it's under 10k miles. i had ebc ultimax and red stuff.

what else do you guys use beside bbk?

i have heard that stop tech is not that good as well.

i am thinking of using the akebono and advics pads.

still shopping for rotors.

I use R1 Concept rotors for both front and rear rotors along with Hawks brake-pads

I've got an 03 with 58k and am about to change front rotors for the 3rd time. I'll be looking here for advice when I do it, now that I've found this forum.

hi, im not to familiar how to use this website, but i had a question, i have a 4 door 1st gen 03 g35 sedan, and i live in toronto,so the other day i went to hamilton (about an hour away) and i popped a tire, (rear passenger) (i didnt have spare in trunk) and luckily some random guy pulled me over and told me he had a shop and my size rim, he changed it and evrythin went well BUT now, the slip light comes on almost ALL the time, and when i was driving home and accelerating, it felt like something was restricting me from drving fast, unless i take my foot off the accelerator and put it back and at the same time the slip light kept flashing frequently. and at times it would jus start slowing down by itself, EVEN if i was still holding the gas, or flooring it. sometimes the rpm went up but not the speed. I was wondering can something like this happen if maybe that tire i chagned was a little different in size ? or what can it be >?
thanks

p.s : my stupid alarm keeps going off at random times too..which is pissing me off now !
any help plz !!
