I used my air hose and a rag to blow as much as I could out prior to pulling the plug..
Did it 2-3 times with a bit of carb cleaner to cut the oil as I went, it was messy.. but I got 99 % out, so there was just a film down there instead of buckets.....

iridiums do not last longer, but have higher intensity spark. copper is more conductive than either of the two, but it burns out so fast so it's actually more expensive to waste time with copper plugs. the best of both worlds came down to.... iridiums. reason why it cost more? the material itself cost more than platinum coating.
