A/C Compressor Clutch
Hello Driver...
I was wondering if someone could answer this before I buy it...
Long story short, I got into an accident. Body is repaired, but A/C is broke.
So I look into this problem. I found out that, the clutch on the A/C Compressor fell off... I guess from the accident.
Question is, Could I buy this part (A/C Clutch only) and install it?
Here is a link to the A/C Clutch below

Would it fix my A/C Compressor, or am I SOL and need to get a it replaced with a new/rebuilt A/C compressor?
Thanks for any help...

i think that the g, z, and m all have different part numbers. which would make me think that they have subtle differences.
tried to replace my compressor with one from a z with failed results.
imo just get a new compressor and have piece of mind.

Funny, the face plate on my compressor clutch fell off also, and in the process, it stripped the teeth of the inside, where it goes on the shaft.
The problem with just replacing the clutch is that you don't know if the compressor shaft is damaged also, or the seals, or whatever. You're better off replacing the compressor. When you replace that, you should also replace the condensor and accumulator/dryer, since it's nearly impossible to clean all the junk out of the stock condensor very well. I ordered my parts just the other day from Rockauto.com . Got the reman compressor and the condensor/accumulator for $408.xx shipped to my door, after finding a 5% discount code, and including a $40 core charge for the compressor, which I'll get back when I return the old one. You probably won't find the parts any cheaper elsewhere.

damn.. that sucks, I guess its time to spend more money and replace the compressor along with the above mentioned parts.
I tried to find a cheaper way out...
