03 Sedan Headlight Bulb replacement... really?

Heya gentlemen.... I'm just confirming what I hope isn't the case, but I just wanted verification.

Do I really have to yank the grill, pull the bumper forward, etc to change a freaking headlight lowbeam bulb? Does any ingenious g35 enthusiast know of a reasonable way to do this without all the hassle? I've read that people change the fogs via the wheel well.

If someone could give me a heads up on the fastest, most efficient way to do this, I'd really appreciate any help you have to offer.

I'm actually ready to slap the Nissan engineer team who came up with this system. Really?!?!?! OMG.

Please tell me that this isn't what one has to do LOL... https://g35driver.com/forums/lightin...ple-steps.html

I read that you are able to do it through the wheel well. I was able to get to it after taking out about 4 or 5 screws and pulled a flap of the wheel well back. Problem was I had the wrong bulb. Now I'm waiting for the right bulb to come in since no stores have them but now my headlight on my passenger side is completely out, high beam and low beam. All I did was take the bulb out of the low beam on the drivers side, nothing special. Does anyone know why that is? Some how blew a fuse? If I put the bulb back in will it come back on?

You say that like removing the bumper is hard. Mine is off in no more than 5 or 6 minutes.
