Angry Trunk STILL wont OPEN HELP!!!

Ok I really need some help... IMy trunk wont pop open except if I was to climb through the back seat. I have check all the fuses good, On/Off switch in glove is ON, and all wires are good. The only thing I did noticed was when I would press key fob I can hear a very faint clicking noise on the actuator. Anything anyone?

My trunk doesn't release remotely either. I have to reach through the pass through. I always assumed it was the release cable that operates it remotely. I'm interested to see some potential fixes as well because I wasn't going to try to trace the whole wire through the car and replace it. If it's something simpler it would be great to figure out how to fix it.
