Found this on another thread.
The Low fuel lamp should go on with approximately 1/8 of a tank of fuel remaining.turn the ignition switch to the ON position, All all indicator lamps should light up and go out after about 5 seconds. This is an electronic bulb check test. Assuming the fuel gauge is working properly, the Instrument cluster circuit board is likely defective. If the fuel gauge is NOT working properly, the fuel level sending unit is likely at fault."
Would that be the only cause? I hope not, Im about to call my dealer, see if Its still covered under warranty.
