Hi guys

I went to start my car this morning and the key wouldn't turn, the ignition is stuck in the lock position and won't budge. I tried wiggling the steering wheel and turning the ignition a bunch of times without any luck. I also unhooked the battery for a few moments and reattached it. The battery is only a year old.

Has anyone had this problem before or know what the issue could be?

Its a 2004 Infiniti g35 coupe

Is your car automatic?

 

Have you recently done an install or messed around with your stereo head unit? There is a plug under the shifter that is unlikely to slide out.

Also could be you left the car in neutral .

 

hi i was just wondering if you gotten that fixed? my 03 g35 sedan is doing the same thing
