Chinese Nissan Consult 4

I bought a Nissan Consult 4 from AliExpress.com from this seller: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/281225703.html. I just want to say it works perfectly and has helped me track down why I'm probably getting crappy MPG and intermittent P0171 DTC. The Nissan Consult 3 clone didn't work on my car for some reason. I'd highly recommend this for anyone who wants to DIY.

My MAF is bad the A/F Alpha setting you can monitor with Consult it was maxed out at 135% and should be at 100% +- 9%. You can then unplug the MAF and if you're A/F Alpha drops down to 75% then your MAF is faulty. If it doesn't drop to 75% check for an air leak. I got that information from an Infiniti/Nissan tech.

If you live near West Chester, PA and want a free scan let me know.

I know this is a years old post but would you follow up for us with your further experiences with this tool? The going rate for these on AliExpress is $400+ so I want to be sure the darn thing will work. I want to be able to run the diagnostics that the service manual outlines like when it says "with Consult II..."

I haven't used it in awhile, but it worked perfectly when I needed it to.

Clone Consult III tools are $175. Any idea why your Consult III clone didn't work on your car? How much did you pay for your clone consult III?

It was different hardware I am assuming. It's called Consult 4 when I bought it, but I know in the dealership it's still Consult 3. I have an 06 Coupe, so not sure the year the cutoff would be.
