Window Issue....

Over the weekend I purchased my second 2006 G35 Coupe. On the drive home, I noticed that the auto-up function isn't working properly on the driver's side window. If you hit the auto-up, it goes all the way up and then lowers about 2 inches. But, if you just manually put it up with the switch, it goes up with no problems.

Also, the window doesn't lower and raise when the door is opened and closed. The passenger side is working just fine.

Any information would be helpful because I don't even have a manual for it.

Thanks!

sound like the window motor was replaced but never programmed, just program it and it should fix all your window problem, Heres the steps if you dont know how

1. Remove the Door Panel. 2003-2005 Front Door Panel Removal Procedure

2. With the door open, lift UP and HOLD the Window Switch until the Window is fully closed.

• Do not use the Window auto-closing function

• Do not release the Switch before the Window is fully closed

3. Get inside the vehicle and close the door.

• You need to close the door so the Door Switch is fully depressed

4. Press and HOLD the Window Regulator Motor Reset Switch. While holding the Reset Switch, press DOWN and HOLD the Window Switch until the Window is fully opened.

Do not use the Window auto-opening function

• Do not release the Switch before the Window is fully opened

Turns out that Infiniti couldn't program the switch, so I need a new one.
